Hello everyone! It is my first time judging NGUAC, and I’m happy to share my judging criteria for the following phases of the competition:

Sound Choice: x/3

Description: Considering the genre, how well does each sound “work” inside the track? Are some sounds out of place, or does everything complement each other very well?

Production Quality: x/5

Description: This rating includes both mixing and the mastering of a track. It judges “how well did the author combine the chosen sounds?”. The final score for this criteria represents how good the track sounds in overall, and how well did the author implement each sound into the final mix. Is the track too silent, does the mix cause distortion? Most importantly: is the mix coherent, and is each sound audible and clear in the context of the track?

Track flow / composition: x/5

Description: How well does the track “flow” during its runtime? Is the track well paced, and do specific sections not overstay their welcome?

Is the composition coherent? Does the track reach a climax, and if so, is there a good buildup to the climax?

Creativity / Uniqueness: x/2

Description: This rating is for judging whether the track has unique flair, or subverts expectations in a certain way. While it is not necessary to subvert expectations in order for a track to be good, it is important for the track not to be repetitive, or have the same sections copied and pasted in different places. It is also fantastic to hear a distinct, unique style.

Catchiness / Complexity: x/3

Description: Is the track easy to follow? How memorable is it? How simple / complex are the melodies in said track? Is simplicity / complexity a great element of the track, or is it a drawback?

Vibe / Emotion: x/2

Description: This section is specifically for the vibe that a track gives off. It judges how well does the track convey emotion. Perhaps the track tells a story? 

You can get maximum of 20 points for a track. The final score is the sum of all points from all rubrics divided by two.

I'd like to wish all of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025!

2024 was as usual, quite a ride. To be honest, I feel this year was the toughest for me creatively - I experienced some "high highs" and some really "low lows" when it comes to musical ideas, productivity, mental health - yet every single one of these experiences is a learning opportunity. Thank you for listening to my music and for being patient, since my upload schedule was really inconsistent. I would really like to upload a bit more this year - maybe do something bigger. I am also really grateful for the opportunities that are NGUAC, NGADM, AIM and other NG audio competitions - I love participating in such events. Again - I really appreciate all of the feedback and support I have got throughout last year <3 It means a lot to me.

CHRISTMAS SAMPLE PACK 2024

Changing the subject, I can finally deliver the new (a bit late) Christmas Sample Pack! This one is bigger than the previous versions, as it contains:

• 80 samples
• 35 "oneshot" samples, including synth fills, perc oneshots, fx and other weird stuff, plucks, bass etc.
• 29 loops from various finished/unfinished projects, including different arpeggios, piano melodies, pads and more
• 16 more loops and stems from "trashed" or "unused" projects and tracks.

I hope you enjoy the sample pack, and that you find something inspiring inside it :D

Hello everyone!

I'd like to wish all of you merry christmas and a happy new year (maybe a little late but better late than never) :D.

I would also like to give you some information on things I mentioned in my past posts or track descriptions.

1. Soon, I will be uploading another version of a Christmas Sample Pack. All I can say is that it includes different synth oneshots, piano and synth melodies, stems from Differences EP as well as some bits of my unused and unfinished projects. I have it almost ready - I will try to upload it before New Year's Eve.
2. There will be a couple more Differences tracks coming up. This EP is still going - I just need to get back to it as I had different things to take care of.

I wish I could write something more in this post, but I'm honestly out of words. Thank you for reading, and again, Merry Christmas and happy New Year's Eve :)

Hello, yesterday I posted about Far Away, and I was supposed to upload the track today. However this track is (in my opinion) pretty bad, and listening to it doesn’t satisfy me in any way. I will upload the track when I feel it is actually good. So this week there will be no tracks. I can assure you that Warmth will be uploaded on time.

Hello everyone, just wanted to wish every person that reads this a fantastic, successful new year! This was a pretty weird year for me, but here we are - I managed to get through it. Now with me being in college, I know for a fact that many struggles are coming my way, and so I hope, that aside from DYNAMIK 2.0, I will be able to make more music regarded things (maybe not albums all the time, but more 'music' things in general).

I don't think about writing anything more now. So at last, thank you to everyone that read this message, and to every person that supports me or listens to me. It means a lot to me to have someone interested in my creations :)

After such a long time, and after almost two months as a freshman in college, I can finally announce something, that I announced like a hundred times already.

It has been tough lately to produce on a regular basis. But with such difficulties, I found myself getting new ideas and new ways to switch some things up. It's obvious how big of a factor emotions and changes are to music, and to art in overall. And now, I feel that I am ready to announce the actual release, although few more tracks are still in production.

DYNAMIK 2.0 will contain of 12 tracks (10 + 2 tracks will be on this album, since two of them will be bonus versions), releasing weekly, every friday on 20:00 CET. Soon, I will be posting a track schedule, in case you are interested.

Well, it is great to finally write about a project that I'm actually finishing. I hope I won't dissapoint in terms of release date, and in terms of quality of my music.

DYNAMIK needed a change. I felt unsatisfied with what I created back during DYNAMIK p1. It could have been a lot better. But at least that is what DYNAMIK is to me. A change. Another change. And who knows, maybe many more of those will come soon. That is the natural way of things. Maybe it is change that inspires to create.

And so, I'm thrilled to announce the release of DYNAMIK 2.0.

But why isn't it part 2? It isn't, because of a couple of reasons, that (for me) make changes to this concept pretty significant. Firstly, I do not like the readability and looks of the part one background art, which (as you may remember) made me switch to the first art concept that I uploaded. Secondly, music in this album will be in different genres than in the first part, and additionally, will be released as a full album (with probably the same "one week, one track" schedule). Lastly, The first part will NOT be deleted. I will, however, change the name of the first part to DYNAMIK+ (+ stands for bonus tracks), as I want to separate the upcoming album from the last one a bit.

The release date will be announced soon. I don't know how soon, but I will update as soon as I'm ready.
